About this book

Claire Malloy, who runs a bookstore, agrees to host a book party for her friend Mildred Twiller, who writes under the pen name Azalea Twilight. Mildred's new novel is Professor of Passion, a romance that Claire would not typically stock. After the party ends, Mildred is found dead in her home, strangled with a silk scarf. Claire takes on the task of finding the killer. Mildred worked at nearby Faber College and had offended many faculty members there, making the investigation complicated. Claire must determine which of these people harbored enough resentment to commit murder.
