The Furies : Vol 3

The Furies: Vol 3 is a manga by Teresita Blanco created with her brother, originally developed in high school and later refined with improved materials and technique. The story follows Gilgamesh, a Sumerian magic user, and his friend Enkiku. When ancient Greek goddesses known as The Furies enter Gilgamesh's castle and begin tormenting him, he is confused about their purpose. According to mythology, The Furies are revenge goddesses who appear when someone has killed a family member, tormenting their victim until death and then continuing their torment of the soul. The Furies believe Gilgamesh killed his father, though he cannot remember doing so—and his court agrees with them. Only Enkiku believes in his innocence. During his encounters with The Furies, Gilgamesh meets Kida, who becomes the love of his life and has a mysterious connection to the goddesses through a unique ability. The manga centers on Gilgamesh and Kida's adventures involving The Furies, and features extensive action sequences and comedy, with careful attention paid to battle choreography.
