Interior designer Nicky has always known how to make the best of difficult situations. Since losing her husband, however, life has become far from simple. She raised her two daughters alone with strength and dedication, and is proud of how well she managed. Now that her children have left home, Nicky wonders what comes next. When her best friend Jenny, a television producer, calls for help, the timing seems perfect. Jenny's new renovation show is in trouble, and only Nicky can save it. The task: restore a run-down bed and breakfast in Provence to its former appeal. However, Jenny has left out some crucial details. The grumpy owner Robert needs significant work himself, and the budget is virtually nonexistent. Nicky must decide whether she can rescue the B&B and, under the blazing Provence sun, perhaps rediscover her own happiness.
