The Overdue Life of Amy Byler

Overworked and underappreciated, single mom Amy Byler accepts an unexpected offer from her estranged husband to care for their children for the summer. She uses the opportunity to escape rural Pennsylvania for New York City. In the city, Amy steps outside her usual reserved nature and experiences a life of culture and sophistication. She goes on blind dates and develops feelings for someone she meets. As summer progresses, she becomes increasingly drawn to this new life and faces a difficult choice: remain in New York or return to her responsibilities at home. Before Amy can decide, a crisis emerges that forces her two worlds together. She must confront a future where she risks losing both her new life and her old one, along with the dreams she has built.
