The Road to Revolution

Ethan Chambers' life changes dramatically when his father is severely injured in an accident. Though Daniel Morgan, a legendary frontiersman, saves his father's life, the injury leaves him permanently disabled and unable to work. Ethan, still a teenager, must become the family's breadwinner, a responsibility for which he feels unprepared. As Ethan struggles to find work, tensions between the American colonies and the British monarchy escalate into armed conflict at Lexington, Concord, and Bunker Hill. Swept up in the growing revolution, Ethan joins Daniel Morgan's Virginia Riflemen to fight for American independence. When Morgan's company undertakes a dangerous expedition through the Canadian wilderness, Ethan faces both natural hardships and the British army. As winter approaches and the stakes intensify, Ethan questions whether he can meet Morgan's expectations. He and his fellow patriots must overcome significant obstacles in their fight for their country.
