About this book

He discovers his musical ability grants him magical power, which he must use to stop a dark force. The Hour of the Gate: Jon-Tom assembles a group including a wizarding turtle, a cowardly bat, and an otter. Together they must raise an army to fight the Plated Folk and prevent their queen from consuming all the mammals in the land. The Day of the Dissonance: After the battle of Jo-Troom Gate, Jon-Tom's companions have separated. When the wizarding turtle Clothahump falls gravely ill, Jon-Tom reunites with his friends to search for a cure.
