What She Saw

Cold case reporter Sloane Grayson returns to a small mountain town in Virginia to investigate a decades-old mystery connected to her own past. Thirty years earlier, her mother was one of four women who disappeared during a music festival. The event's promoter was convicted of their murders, and Sheriff CJ Taggart closed the case. However, the bodies were never found, leaving the case unresolved in Sloane's mind. With Taggart now deceased, Sloane must interview the victims' families and remaining witnesses willing to revisit the crime that made their town notorious. The convicted killer has consistently maintained his innocence, and Sloane is uncertain whether to believe him. Unmarked graves somewhere in the area may hold the remains and secrets of the victims. Sloane is determined to locate them and discover the truth, even if it requires engaging in a dangerous confrontation with someone intent on preventing her investigation.
