Windfallen follows two women whose lives intersect through Arcadia, a striking art deco house overlooking the English seaside village of Merham. For Lottie Swift, Arcadia has always held deep personal significance. The house, which seems unchanged over the years, has been intimately connected to her own life's journey—representing adventure, youth, and romantic experiences both lost and gained. As time passes, both Lottie's life and the house fall into decline. Years later, Daisy Parsons arrives in Merham as a designer hired to renovate the now-vacant Arcadia. Like Lottie before her, Daisy is seeking a fresh start. Fleeing a failed relationship and facing single motherhood, she finds shelter in the house. There she discovers unexpected romantic connection and forms a meaningful friendship.
