About this book

This sequel to Angelfall follows the survivors of an angel apocalypse as they attempt to rebuild. When a group mistakes Penryn's sister Paige for a monster, the encounter ends in a massacre and Paige vanishes. Penryn searches the empty streets of San Francisco for her sister, a quest that leads her to uncover the angels' secret plans and the extent of what they are willing to do. Meanwhile, Raffe searches for his wings. Without them, he cannot rejoin the angels or claim his position as one of their leaders.
