A Murder Most Camp: A Mystery

Mikey Hartford IV has spent his twenties indulging in yachts, parties, and expensive impulses. When his father discovers his latest million-dollar purchase and restructures his trust, Mikey faces a deadline: make a positive contribution to the world before turning thirty, or lose access to his wealth indefinitely. To prove himself, Mikey must work at Camp Lore, a struggling summer camp in upstate New York. He joins the staff as the oldest and least-qualified employee, working alongside his twelve-year-old aunt. The ramshackle conditions and constant attention from campers test his patience, but his real challenge emerges when his campers become fascinated by a local legend tied to an abandoned cabin on the grounds. Mikey discovers that a murder lies buried in Camp Lore's past—a decade-old cold case. Someone at the camp is determined to keep this secret hidden, and solving the mystery becomes dangerous. Mikey realizes that uncovering the truth about this cold case could provide the "good" deed he needs to secure his inheritance, if he survives long enough to do so.
