About this book

Big Nate presents full-color comic stories featuring sixth grader Nate Wright and his friends at P.S. 38, aimed at middle grade readers. Nate finds himself in conflict with various people at school. He clashes with Gina, the school newspaper editor, after she rejects his comic strip. He struggles to work with his study partners while preparing for a final exam. When he learns that teacher Mr. Rosa's job is at risk, Nate confronts the school board. His biggest challenge comes when a competitor named Kyle threatens Nate's position as the owner of P.S. 38's filthiest locker. Nate must compete in a "slob-off" to defend his title. This collection gathers new comics featuring Nate's various misadventures and conflicts.
