About this book

Hard Luck, Alaska is a remote town located 50 miles north of the Arctic Circle with a population of about 150, mostly men. Sawyer O'Halloran is the middle brother and a pilot and part owner of Midnight Sons. He is skeptical of the campaign to recruit women to Hard Luck and considers himself immune to romantic attraction. He is opposed to marriage and uncertain about love. Abbey Sutherland is a single mother of two children and a veteran of a failed marriage. She is seeking a fresh start rather than a new romantic relationship. She responds to the Midnight Sons advertisement and accepts their offer, but has not disclosed to the O'Hallorans that she will be arriving with her children.
