Death arrives in London for a vacation but finds herself caught in a murder investigation. She appears as a woman rather than the skeletal figure people expect, and she must navigate her existential crisis while stuck in a mortal body. Complications mount quickly: her sister Life blames her for various problems, a series of murders occur outside the normal schedule, and a charming scientist with secrets appears on the scene. Death decides to investigate the killings herself, drawing on her unique perspective to solve the case. The novel was shortlisted for the Comedy Women in Print Prize. It combines supernatural elements with murder mystery and humor, exploring themes of life, death, and existence.
