Every Breath

Hope Anderson, thirty-six, faces significant life decisions. She has been dating an orthopedic surgeon for six years with no marriage prospects, and her father has recently been diagnosed with ALS. She travels to her family's cottage in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, to prepare the house for sale and consider her future. Tru Walls, a safari guide from Zimbabwe, travels to Sunset Beach after receiving a letter from a man claiming to be his father. He hopes to learn about his mother's early life and recover memories lost after her death. When Hope and Tru meet, they form an immediate connection. Over the following days, their growing feelings for each other force them to confront difficult choices between family obligations and personal desires. The story explores different dimensions of love and loyalty while examining how long a dream can endure.
