About this book

Chef Paul Delamare, worn out and newly broke, agrees to teach a week-long residential course at the Chester Square Cookery School in London when his old friend Christian Wagner—a former two Michelin star chef and host of Pass the Gravy!—asks him to fill in. Christian is unable to teach due to a broken arm. The students are a mixed group, more interested in the mansion's surroundings than mastering culinary techniques. Paul begins to enjoy teaching them until someone is murdered with a cleaver he used that morning to prepare squabs. Now Paul must clear his own name, continue teaching his class, and identify the killer—all while avoiding becoming the next victim.
