Kur of Gor (Gorean Saga Book 28)

An alien race called the Kur seeks to conquer Counter Earth, with their attention focused on Tarl Cabot. The Kur once possessed their own planet, but it became uninhabitable, possibly destroyed by the Kur themselves. They have since identified two suitable replacement worlds: Earth and Gor, its sister planet. The Kur have attempted conquest four times but were repelled each time by the Priest-Kings, who rule Gor. As the Kurii wait in an asteroid belt for an opportunity to claim their target, they become interested in Tarl Cabot, a human who formerly served the Priest-Kings. Tarl is now imprisoned in a secret facility under Priest-King control. The novel explores what draws the Kur's attention to him and the world of Gor, where social hierarchies are strictly defined. Kur of Gor is the 28th book in the Gorean Saga and can be read independently of the other books in the series.
