Mammoth

A time travel and ecology novel from the author of the Gaea Trilogy. When a perfectly preserved frozen mammoth is discovered in the Canadian wilderness, wealthy visionary Howard Christian sees an opportunity to clone it. His curiosity deepens when he finds a metal box and the mummified body of a man wearing a watch beside the mammoth. Working to understand the box's purpose and clone the mammoth, a top physicist and an elephant veterinarian are sent thousands of years into the past and back again, bringing a baby mammoth named Little Fuzzy with them. The novel follows their adventure across time as they grapple with the implications of their discoveries.
