Nate Mackey is a Grammy-winning country music superstar who has pursued his passion for making music since age sixteen. Despite his public fame, he prefers a quiet life at home away from the party scene. He believes his life is perfect until he meets Victoria Marks during a rain-soaked encounter. Victoria is the president and CEO of a major luxury hotel chain and works constantly, leaving little room for anything else. When Nate enters her life during a hurricane, she doesn't initially recognize him. Though she has avoided relationships in the past, knowing they lead nowhere, she finds herself intrigued by him.
