Queens at War is the final volume in Alison Weir's four-part Medieval Queens series, covering the end of the medieval period and the rise of the Tudors in England. The book chronicles five Plantagenet queens who reigned from 1403 to 1485 during the violent fifteenth century, a time marked by the Hundred Years' War between England and France and the Wars of the Roses between the Houses of Lancaster and York.
