About this book

Taming The Fire is the second book in The Dragon Tributes series. The dragons on Draig Island are unlike ordinary dragons. The protagonist comes from extreme wealth—her father is one of the world's richest men, and she stands to inherit his fortune. However, her life is not her own. Her father has controlled every aspect of it, including arranging her future marriage to a man she does not want. When she is selected as a Tribute and sent to Draig Island, she initially views it as a disaster. Most Tributes do not return. Yet on the island, she experiences freedom for the first time. She realizes that if she can mind-bond with a dragon, she will be permitted to stay. Mind-bonding with dragons is extremely dangerous and difficult to achieve, but she is determined to succeed. Returning to her former life is no longer acceptable to her. The story contains mature themes and language, including growls, explicit dialogue, and a hard-won happy ending.
