A woman accustomed to perfection—the perfect daughter, girlfriend, career, and life—finds herself suddenly single, homeless, and in need of refuge. She leases an apartment above a bar on the wrong side of the river, where she begins trading insults with Jensen Barret, the bar's infuriatingly attractive owner. Jensen is everything opposite to perfection: arrogant, surly, rude, and prone to questionable choices and company.
