The second novel in the Stone and Oliver series, The Insider follows DCI David Stone and DS Frankie Oliver, a newly paired Murder Investigation Team detective duo. When the body of a young woman is discovered near a Northumberland railway line, they face a challenging case that becomes their first major test.
