The Lost Bones is the eighth book in the Widow's Island Novella series. Former FBI agent Cate Wilde returns to Widow's Island seeking a quieter life, but her past resurfaces when she receives a mysterious package containing a child's mandible. The bone leads Cate to an unsolved kidnapping case from seven years earlier involving a three-year-old girl.
