The Men's Guide to the Women's Bathroom explores what women actually do in the bathroom. After leaving New York City and returning to Austin, Texas, Claire St. John realizes that the best advice she has received came from strangers in women's bathrooms. Regretting her marriage to the wrong man and a subsequent divorce, she decides to leave her career as a lawyer to write a self-help book revealing what happens in this private feminine space. As Claire works on her project, she navigates re-adjusting to Texas life, including eating spicy jalapeño carrots, driving through the Texas hill country, and going on a booze cruise. She also contends with growing feelings for Jake Armstrong, an organic food entrepreneur whose presence threatens to disrupt her new direction.
