Larry Kelley, seventeen, and Gina Spann, thirty-one, met while working at a Taco Bell in Augusta, Georgia. Their friendship became romantic when Gina invited Larry to live with her, her husband Kevin, and their teenage son. Larry and Gina openly shared the master bedroom while Kevin slept in a back room. Gina enlisted Larry and three of his friends to kill Kevin and claim his $300,000 life insurance policy. On Mother's Day 1997, two teenagers shot Kevin point-blank when he answered the door. On May 12, 1997, Gina, Larry, and two of his friends each received life sentences for the murder. Wensley Clarkson examines this case involving sex, greed, and murder.
