The sixth book in the Antique Shop Mysteries series, set in a village in Kent. Lina Townend is an antique dealer and amateur sleuth who runs a small antique shop with her mentor Griff, who is currently in hospital. Lina has a talent for spotting valuable items and uncovering trouble. When a well-spoken stranger offers Lina a rare china horse, something feels wrong. The piece is flawless and the woman's story seems rehearsed, so Lina declines the deal. Soon after, similar china horses begin appearing across Kent. Lina discovers that someone is flooding the market with perfect forgeries and will go to great lengths to keep the truth hidden. As Lina investigates, she realizes the situation is far more dangerous than a simple scam. This book was previously published as Guilt Edged and has been lightly edited for language.
