Aymar Castle has endured a six-month siege with dwindling food supplies and no rescue in sight. When the castle's stores are mysteriously replenished and the sick are healed by divine figures called the Constant Lady and her Saints—who somehow breach the barricaded gates—the survivors begin to worship their saviors.
