About this book

Apollo, a god punished by Zeus and transformed into a mortal teenager named Lester Papadopoulos, must restore five darkened Oracles to regain his place on Mount Olympus. He has no godly powers and is bound to Meg, a daughter of Demeter. After surviving two trials—one at Camp Half-Blood and one in Indianapolis—Lester and Meg learn from the Dark Prophecy that an evil triumvirate of Roman emperors plans to attack Camp Jupiter. While Leo travels ahead on Festus to warn the Roman camp, Lester and Meg must journey through the Labyrinth to find the third emperor and an Oracle who speaks in word puzzles, located somewhere in the American Southwest. The prophecy offers one hopeful sign: a satyr companion will guide them. Meg knows whom to call upon for this aid.
