The Valley Between Us follows two women whose lives intersect across decades and continents. In 1991, as the Soviet Union collapses, 20-year-old Dina confronts the ancient Caucasus tradition of bride kidnapping, which upends her planned life and forces her to find strength in a harsh new reality. In 2018, Callie, an American managing her sensory processing issues through strict routine, takes an unexpected leave from work to intern at a mountain guesthouse in Georgia. What begins as a summer adventure shifts her perspective on herself, her beliefs, and her relationships. While there, she uncovers a shocking family secret.
