About this book

When a troubled young man returns to town after time in a controversial Hasidic cult, the rabbi anticipates he will follow the New Age trend. However, events take a darker turn when an elderly patient dies after receiving incorrect medication from the local pharmacist—the father of the young man who recently returned. When the patient's family suggests the medication error was deliberate, both the pharmacist and his son become suspects. Rabbi Small undertakes an investigation, applying Old Testament wisdom to solve the crime amid the town's New Age preoccupations.
