A Bookish Twist is the sixth book in Anthea Fraser's Chiltern Hills Mysteries series, set in England's Chiltern Hills. Rona Parish is a biographer with a talent for uncovering murder and mystery. She lives with her husband Max, an illustrator, and Gus, her Golden Retriever. To maintain her independence and writing time, Max leaves their townhouse on weekdays. Rona's twin sister Lindsey occasionally visits. When Rona meets her new neighbours, Barbara and Keith Franks, and their daughter Louise, she senses something is amiss. Louise, who rarely leaves the house due to health issues, eventually approaches Rona for help. Louise has lost her memories in a car crash and wants to recover her past. However, family photos and records were destroyed in a mysterious fire, leaving her to question whether Barbara and Keith are truly her parents. This book was previously published as Next Door to Murder.
