TV producer Barrie MacDonald has spent years developing her sitcom for broadcast. When network executive Michael Compton proposes rescheduling her show, Barrie resists his efforts, despite finding him charming and attractive. Though Michael's interest in her is evident, Barrie is determined to keep their professional and personal lives separate.
