Random in Death: An Eve Dallas Novel

A teenager named Jenna attends a New York club to watch the band Avenue A, hoping to give her demo to guitarist Jake Kincade. After he smiles at her from the stage, she leaves the dance floor feeling ill. Jake finds her in an alley in distress and attempts to help, but she dies shortly after.
